I am a fully qualified humanistic and integrative counsellor/ psychotherapist 

(PG Dip Integrative Psychotherapy; BA Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy) and 

an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP). 

Accreditation means that Counsellors/ Psychotherapists have completed a substantial level of training and have high standards of clinical experience approved by the Association.

I have completed additional qualifications in the areas of Attachment Theory,

Expressive Arts in Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, Polyvagal Theory, EMDR, and Gendlin's Focusing.

I have also done a specialist training in working with sexual abuse and violence 

in the Galway Rape Crisis Centre. I offer a trauma-informed approach in my clinic. 

I have studied under the tutorial of Dr Shefali Tsarabi in the realms

of Conscious Parenting.  

 

Depending on the needs of my clients, I use different therapeutic modalities, such as

Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Focusing, Psychosynthesis (Roberto Assagioli), Gestalt Therapy (Fritz Pearls),

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to name a few.

I integrate mind and body, compassionate approaches and nervous system education

in my work in order to help you understand and integrate physical symptoms and

emotional developments. 

All of these modalities can promote a sense of wholesomeness and can reintegrate

parts that might have gotten lost, hidden or split off.

It is an absolute pleasure for me to walk alongside people on their journey to healing

and more wholesomeness.
